New head chosen for Ipswich school

IPSWICH School today announced the appointment of a new Headteacher.

IPSWICH School today announced the appointment of a new Headteacher.

School governors named Nicholas Weaver as new Head as of September 2010.

Mr Weaver, who is currently Deputy Head at The Portsmouth Grammar School, will succeed Ian Galbraith, who retires next year after 17 years of service.

Mr Weaver, 38, studied engineering at Jesus College, Cambridge, and qualified as a teacher in the Cambridge Faculty of Education.
