Playtime just got more fun at a Suffolk primary school.
A new adventure trail got the thumbs up from youngsters at Saxmundham Primary School.
The equipment, along with a low-rise climbing wall alongside the playground, was funded by the Friends of Saxmundham Primary School, a group of parents, staff and members of the local community, who have also funded theatre trips, an ‘end of SATS chill out night’, disco equipment, a school music workshop, lighting and staging for school productions, and a contribution to the hall projector. They also provide money for class and library resources, and gifts for school leavers.
A fundraising Christmas bazaar takes place from 2pm-4pm on Saturday, November 21, with Santa’s grotto, a secret Santa room, prize draw, hamper raffles, tombola, cakes and produce, children’s games and more.
Tickets for the draw are now on sale from the school office for 50p.
The friends thanked businesses that have supported their fundraising, and those to have donated draw prizes and supported the bazaar.
