A MOTORCYCLIST has died after being involved in a collision with a car in Newmarket.
The male rider, whose age has yet to be confirmed, died at the scene of the crash, which happened at about 5.30pm on Willie Snaith Road.
The male driver of a Volkswagen Bora was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and taken to Bury St Edmunds police investigation centre for questioning.
The road was closed for several hours for an investigation to take place.
