Newmarket/Bury St Edmunds: Woman arrested after drugs raid

A woman has been released on bail following a drugs raid in Newmarket.

Officers from Suffolk police raided a property in Newmarket High Street at 3pm yesterday.

They seized a quantity of drugs and cash.

A Bury St Edmunds woman, 20, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a class A drug and taken for questioning.

She has been bailed to return to Bury Police Investigation Centre on Monday August 18 pending further enquiries.
