Police are investigating a car fire which spread to a homeowner’s driveway in Newmarket.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called just after 10pm to Exning Road, in the town.
On arrival, firefighters found the car to be “well alight” with the blaze having spread to an adjacent fence and an adjoining driveway.
Crews used two sets of breathing apparatus to get near the fire and two hosereel jets to bring it under control.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and Suffolk police have been informed.
