FOUR men were taken to hospital in the early hours of this morning following separate assaults in Ipswich and Felixstowe.

Paramedics were first called shortly before 3am to the Old Cattle Market, near Pals nightclub, in Ipswich, where a man had been assaulted with a glass bottle.

Then, at around 3.20am, a 20-year-old man suffered a suspected broken nose outside Liquid nightclub in Cardinal Park.

Minutes later a 50-year-old man was left with facial injuries following an assault near the war memorial in Undercliff Road West, Felixstowe.

Finally, at around 5.40am, a 29-year-old man suffered head injuries in Burlington Road, Ipswich.

All four men were taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment but none of their wounds were thought to be serious.
