FORMER Blue Peter presenter and television star John Leslie will face no further action over a rape allegation made against him, it emerged today.
The allegation against Leslie was claimed to have taken place at a party at his home in Sheen, west London in November 1995.
It was reported his accuser was in her early 20s when she claimed she was attacked.
But the Metropolitan Police today said that no further action would be taken.
Mr Leslie said he was “delighted” and branded the claim as “ridiculous”.
He was acquitted of two counts of indecent assault on a 23-year-old actress in 2003.
