Police in Suffolk have not been called to any weather-related incidents overnight, despite strong winds hitting much of the county.

Forecasters are now predicting a bright day for the region, with earlier rainy conditions set to give way to bright and sunny spells.

Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 8C.

Officers are advising motorists to take care on Suffolk’s roads during the morning rush hour, however, because of rain on the roads.
