A man was airlifted to hospital earlier today from boat near the Greater Gabbard wind farm.
Thames Coastguard were called shortly after noon to be told a man on board the DP Galyna, a hotel ship for people working at the wind farm, was suffering from an eye problem.
The coastguard tasked the air sea rescue helicopter from RAF Wattisham with recovering the man and bringing him ashore.
The man was taken from the Galyna to a secure landing site at Felixstowe and transferred to Ipswich Hospital by land ambulance.
