A motorcyclist and his female pillion passenger were treated for serious injuries following a collision with a four-wheel-drive-car near Bury St Edmunds.
The pair were taken to West Suffolk Hospital after colliding with a Landrover on the Ixworth Road in Norton at about 4pm yesterday.
The motorcyclist and his passenger, a man and a woman in their forties, were both treated at the scene by a volunteer Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) doctor and paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service.
They were later taken by ambulance to hospital for further checks. Their injuries were thought to be serious but not life-threatening.
