A 10-year-old boy was knocked to the ground and injured when a milk float mounted the kerb and collided with him, police have said.

Witnesses are urged to come forward after the driver of the milk float failed to stop after the incident in Prospect Road, Norton. It took place at around 7.45am on November 26.

A Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said: “The boy was waiting on the pavement by the roadside when a milk float mounted the kerb and collided with him. The milk float driver did not stop.

“The boy sustained minor injuries to his back and leg, and fell to the ground.”
