CREWS were called out to deal with a car fire in Norton.
An appliance from Elmswell arrived at the scene in Ixworth Road at about 10.20pm to find the car was well alight.
The fire was under control just before 10.45pm. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using a hosereel extinguished the fire and returned to their station by 11.30pm.
