The naked rider was spotted in Waldingfield Road, Acton, near Sudbury, between 2.45pm and 2.55pm on Monday.

Police have classified the incident as one of “outraging public decency” and have today appealed for public help in catching the naked cyclist.

After the report came in, police searched the area but he was not found.

A spokeswoman for the police said: “He is described as white, in his late 20s, of slim build with dark hair and was riding a racing bike with curly handles.”

During the past two years such incidents have included public masturbation, sex acts in public with prostitutes, one incident of a man committing a sexual act with a horse and another of a man in his 20s who defecated in a street in Brandon.
