PETER Oakes is on his way back to Peterborough as the club's new Director of Speedway.
Oakes will leave his position as Coventry's team manager to work alongside Panthers chiefs Rick Frost and Trevor Swales.
He said: “It's an exciting challenge for me and one I am really looking forward to, we spent hours talking over ideas and we want to improve things for the benefit of Peterborough and its supporters.”
