Police are appealing for information following a serious crash in Great Notley.
A black Mercedes car and a blue Suzuki motorbike were in collision in Bakers Lane, near the junction with London Road, at around 6pm on September 18.
The motorcycle rider, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
