THE Crowned Prince of Essex, Olly Murs, is now favourite to win the X Factor.

Ladbrokes have announced the Witham boy is favourite to win the show with odds of 2/1. Danyl Johnson and Joe McElderry have been made second favourite at 7/2 while Lloyd Daniels is now the outsider at 66/1.

Olly, 26, is today sporting a bandaged hand after breaking a bone whilst pounding a punchbag in the gym yesterday. Producers are confident he will still perform on Saturday's show.

The youngster gave a brilliant rendition of classic Beatles song Twist and Shout at the weekend which won rave reviews from the judges.
