Emergency services rushed to the scene of a five-vehicle crash in Ipswich this afternoon.

Police were called shortly after 12.50pm to reports of a collision in Southgate Road.

One person took themselves to hospital following the incident.

The East of England Ambulance Service was not called.

There are not thought to be any other injuries.

The road was closed for recovery.
