The emergency services are on the scene of a serious crash in Thurston.
The police were called to the incident at around 8.40am today by the ambulance service after the two vehicle crash in Church Road.
The road was closed while the services, along with the fire brigade, dealt with the situation.
One person sustained potentially serious injuries in the incident between a Ford Transit and a Ford Ranger.
The ambulance service said two people were taken to hospital by land ambulance.
The road reopened at 11.30am.
