Seven fire crews have attended a blaze at the top floor flat of a property in Onehouse this afternoon.
At about 1.30pm appliances from Needham Market and Stowmarket fire stations were sent to Union Road and arrived to find the blaze on the third floor.
Extra crews from Bury St Edmunds, Princes Street in Ipswich and Ixworth were sent to the scene, followed up by a crew from Debenham and an extra unit from Ixworth.
The flames spread to the second floor flat before the were extinguished.
One person was seen by paramedics at the scene after suffering from smoke inhalation but there were no other injuries.
