Entries have opened for this summer’s Felixstowe in Flower competitions – and organisers are hoping for a bumper crop for judges to assess.

The categories include classes for private front gardens both large and small, and commercial premises, residential homes, guest houses and hotels, and pubs.

There is also a tallest sunflower event for children.

The town council is also seeking sponsors for the hanging baskets, saddleboxes and tubs which form a floral trail through the town to the seafront.

Baskets are £50 while tubs and troughs are £65 each.
