Owen Bull, 49, formerly of Woodbridge Road East, Ipswich, was today sentenced at Norwich Crown Court.
Last month a jury found him guilty of attempted rape, two indecent assaults and a sexual assault.
Bull had denied all charges, which related to seven different victims over a three year period - including an undercover policewoman.
Judge Paul Downes sentenced Bull to seven and a half years in prison - six years for the attempted rape and a further 18 months for each of the other offences to run concurrently.
