Firefighters rescued a horse from a ditch in Oulton earlier today.
At 10.55am, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service received a call about a horse stuck in a water filled ditch in Gravel Dam.
One appliance from Lowestoft South, the water rescue team from Lowestoft South and the Unimog from Bury St Edmunds attended.
An assessment was carried out and the Unimog was then used to remove the horse using the lifting equipment.
The horse was released at 1.31pm and left in the care of the vet.
