A HUNT is on today for five owls whose cages were cut open by vandals overnight.
The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary in Stonham Barns was targeted some time between 5.30pm yesterday and 8.30am today when the locks to more than 30 aviaries were cut through, allowing ten birds to escape.
Five were captured but five more are still on the loose and could die in the wild unless they are found quickly.
