PETERBOROUGH Panthers are pleased with the early success of their new online shop.

Since going live in early May, sales have been very good and plans are already in place to introduce new items over the next few weeks and the buying process for customers is simplicity in itself.

Clothing, souvenirs and back issues of programmes are all freely available with customers able to pay via paypal.

A full range of clothing is available including jackets, hoodies and fleeces, while the hottest item currently on the shopping list is the Panthers Polo Shirt. Programmes from 2009, including the two 40th Anniversary collectors cards with each issue, are also available.

Shop manager Andy Griggs said: “The shop is going very well after some teething problems setting it up and I am delighted with it so far, I am adding to the range on a weekly basis and there well maybe something special going online before the British Grand Prix at Cardiff at the end of the month.

“I have just recently taken delivery of some large programme boards that accommodate the larger programmes that Peterborough and other Elite League clubs have moved to and these will be added shortly.

“And of course we sell all the 2009 programmes online as well and to be fair they are going well with programme collectors countrywide.

“The best seller by a long way this year on line is the club's polo shirt and they have proved very popular with supporters at the track shop. There is something for everyone and I have already dispatched items all over England and Scotland.”
