A Suffolk church is teaming up with an airfield museum for a special fete for all the family.

Parham Church Fete takes place from 1.30-4.30pm featuring stalls, games and entertainment.

Organisers have thanked Parham Airfield Museum, near to Framlingham, for providing its “wonderful venue” for this year’s celebration.

Visitors will be able to take a look around the museum and its exhibits, for a small donation towards its running costs.

The museum, which was formed in 1974 by a group of volunteers, houses a rare collection of memorabilia and a fully restored control tower, which is dedicated to the 390th bomb group, the 740 servicemen killed or missing in action and the further 754 who were taken as prisoners of war.

The muscum also featured a re-creation of an underground bunker used by the resistance movement.

Entrance to the fete is free.
