POLICE shut down a rave in Great Yarmouth following a tip off from a member of the public.
Officers were alerted to the illegal gathering at 12.48am this morning, after a caller reported seeing a large group of cars in New Road, Fritton, and hearing loud music coming from a nearby wooded area.
The rave was immediately contained by police, who broke up the crowd and seized sound equipment.
