Patio furniture set alight in arson attack

IPSWICH: Arson is suspected following a fire which left garden furniture destroyed.

IPSWICH: Arson is suspected following a fire today which left garden furniture destroyed.

One fire crew from Princes Street station attended the blaze at Wherry Quay, Ipswich, at around 5.50am.

They extinguished two patio umbrellas which were well alight despite the damp conditions.

Investigators are treating the fire as suspicious and an inquiry has now begun.
