A WOMAN has been airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries this afternoon after a collision with a car.
The accident, involving the pedestrian and a blue Renault Clio, happened in Brandon High Street at 12.45pm.
A police spokesman said the road was still closed and drivers are being urged to avoid the Brandon area, which has become seriously congested.
The woman who was injured in the collision has been taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.
