A PENSIONER was rescued from his car after it overturned in a ditch near Eye earlier this afternoon.
The 76-year-old man sustained minor cuts and bruises and was shaken up by the accident on the B1117 at Denham at about 1pm.
Paramedics at the scene assessed the casualty but did not take him to hospital.
A spokeswoman for the East of England ambulance service said fortunately the man had not been seriously harmed and was taken home.
Three fire crews attended the scene from Stradbroke fire station, Eye and Diss to help rescue the man from his car which ended up overturned in a ditch.
