A PENSIONER was taken to hospital with serious injuries today after he lost control of his car on a country road near Sudbury.
No other vehicle was involved when the man, who is aged in his 80s, came off Bury Road in Hargrave at about 1.40pm and struck a telegraph pole.
Witnesses are asked to call the Bury St Edmunds road policing unit on 01284 774100.
