A PENSIONER was taken to hospital after suffering minor injuries in a car crash earlier this morning.
The 70-year-old crashed his vehicle on Henley Close in Saxmundham at about 9.14am.
Ambulance crews found the driver to have head injuries and conveyed him to hospital for further medical checks.
It is believed the accident was caused by difficult weather conditions and icy black spots on the road. No other vehicle was involved.
