A BLAZE in an industrial park sparked a massive rescue effort last night as fire crews battled to get the flames under control.
Six fire engines were called out to the Eagle Park industrial estate in Yaxley, near Peterborough, at 3.10am today after reports of lorries and a fruit and veg factory on fire with possible explosions from inside.
Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service found gas cylinders and wooden pallets ablaze at the business park and battled the flames for more than two hours before finally getting the fire under control by 5.27am.
A nearby rail line was closed down during the incident but a rail inspector has now reopened it for use by trains.
