TWO youths are being hunted after they were seen throwing glass bottles of petrol at a children's play area.

TWO youths are being hunted after they were seen throwing glass bottles of petrol at a children's play area.

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses and descriptions of the two boys wanted in connection with last night's arson incident at Freshfields, Newmarket.

They were seen fleeing the scene after the incident which saw no one hurt and no damage done.

Both boys were white and around 15 or 16 years old. One had a shaved head and was wearing a red jacket while the second was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

Following the incident, which took place between 8.45pm and 9pm, the youngsters were seen running off, one into Freshfields and the other towards Valley Way.
