PETROL prices have fallen under the one pound a litre barrier for the first time in months, with both Asda and Morrisons dropping the cost to 99.9p.
The price cuts, which result from falling oil prices, are set to prompt another round of price cuts among other retailers.
Brendan McLoughlin, founder of PetrolPrices.com said: “The price cuts by Asda and Morrisons should force other retailers to lower their prices too, meaning we could see falling prices right across the country over the next few weeks.”
