Pettaugh: Field of stubble on fire is put out by crews from Stowmarket and Debenham

Two fire crews have had to put out a burning field.

Firefighters from Debenham and Stowmarket were sent to the scene just off the A1120 in Pettaugh at 1.12pm today.

Roughly 1 hectare of a stubble field was alight and the crews had to use two hosereel jets to bring it under control.

Both crews tackled the fire and it was extinguished by 1.56pm.
