A CHEF has cooked up the world's largest meatball - a staggering feast which weighs in at more than 15-and-a-half stone.
Matthew Mitnitsky's 222.5lbs effort shattered the old record by 23.9lbs at an event in the USA this weekend.
Mr Mitnitsky, owner of Nonni's Italian Eatery in Concord, New Hampshire, said his meatball was confirmed as the world's largest after being weighed by officials.
He added that he wanted to “bring the meatball back to the East Coast” as the meal originated there.
