A PLANE crashed into an air traffic control tower today after landing on the popular Thai holiday resort island of Samui, killing the pilot.
There were 72 people aboard the Bangkok Airways domestic flight when the plane skidded off the runway in bad weather and hit the tower this morning.
No-one else on board is thought to have been badly injured.
Samui, located 300 miles south of Bangkok, is a resort island in the Gulf of Thailand popular with foreign tourists.
