With the festive season soon approaching, it’s time to start thinking about where to hold your annual Christmas party.

Moon and Mushroom, Ipswich

As a traditional 16th Century pub with a plethora of original features and a roaring fire, The Moon and Mushroom is the perfect destination for a cosy festive celebration. Christmas parties can be booked from November 1 to December 24, with both two and three course options available.

The King Head, Hadleigh

The Kings Head in Hadleigh is a traditional British pub which is housed in a beautiful 16th century building. The pub offers popular food from daily changing menu including good wood-fired pizzas, which can be ordered alongside local beers and ciders including Adnams and guests, which are all served by friendly helpful staff.

The 2018 Christmas menu at The Kings Head is available at a price of £18.95 for two courses or £22.95 for three and includes a wide selection of festive delights. Choose from five starters, including caramelised red onion and goats cheese tart, chicken liver pate and prawn and crab cocktail, and then from a variety of mains options such as traditional roast turkey, Scottish salmon and confit Gressingham duck leg. Desserts include Christmas pudding, crème brûlée and more.

Orwell Hotel, Felixstowe

The Orwell Hotel in Felixstowe offers comfortable accommodation, excellent cuisine, a friendly atmosphere and this December, a huge variety of events and shows to enjoy as party of your Christmas party.

On December 1 and December 22 at 7pm, join The Orwell Hotel for a disco night. Tickets cost £38 per person and include a three course meal. On December 8, the amazingly talented Chelsea Francis will be holding a 80s night, performing her renditions of your favourite classics from the decade. The event starts at 7pm and costs £45 per person, which includes a three course meal. On December 13 and 14, another in house event comes in the form of The Ladybirds. Anglia Indoor Karting, Ipswich

The Turks Head’s traditional bar, fire and elegant restaurant are ideal for a fabulous get together this festive season. The head chef works with the finest local and seasonal ingredients to create delicious menus. Whether you are looking to share the festive season with friends, family or colleagues, The Fleece Bungay will ensure you have an enjoyable and memorable time. The pub’s Festive Party Menu is available for parties of 10 or more from Friday, November 30 to Friday, January 11 (for those of you who are too busy over the festive season). Two courses can be tucked into for £21.95 (available lunchtime Monday to Friday only) or three courses for £25.95.

Cleone’s Restaurant, The Angel at Halesworth

The Kings Head (The Low House), Laxfield

The Low House, Laxfield is a real treasure chest of 15th century history. The pub doesn’t have a bar, therefore guests are served in the tap room at the back of the pub, where beer is poured straight from the barrel. Recently bought by a group of locals, the pub is now a Free House with three B&B rooms and is a not-for-profit-company.
