The brewing company has backed the Trust for a number of years, with the proceeds from the levy on its plastic bag sales being used to fund aquatic surveying, the purchase of British white cattle for conservation grazing and the construction of a new hide at the Hen Reedbeds reserve near Southwold.

Money has also gone to build a waterless toilet for conservation volunteers at the Church Farm Marshes reserve near Halesworth, where local councillor Richard Smith also donated a £1,000 towards the project.

“Staff and customers can now benefit from the enhanced visitor experience thanks to our continually developing relationship with Adnams,” said the Trust’s fundraising manager Michael Strand.
