Police, fire and ambulance were on the scene of a house fire in Felixstowe.
Firefighters were called at 3.30pm this afternoon to reports of smoke coming from a bedroom window at a property on Coronation Drive, near to Grange Road.
Police and ambulance were also called to the scene, where three fire engines – one each from Ipswich East, Princes Street and Felixstowe – tackled a 10x10m blaze on the first floor.
A police spokesperson said officers were in the process of putting a cordon in place at the scene.
It is believed nobody was at the property at the time of the fire.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the blaze was unknown at this stage.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.39pm to reports of a house fire with possibly people trapped inside.
“Several resources were dispatched but were stood down once it was clear that everyone had been accounted for and there were no injuries.”
