AN investigation is under way after a cat was shot with what is believed to have been an air rifle.
The shooting is thought to have happened in Aldeburgh at some point between Wednesday, May 12 and Friday, June 11, with the pellet becoming lodged in the cat’s neck.
The owner noticed a small lump but when it became bigger the cat was taken to the vet and the pellet was found and removed.
Anyone with information about the attack should call Suffolk police on 01986 835300.
