POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in an Essex town.
The 28-year-old was attacked in the area of Meadgate Avenue, Chelmsford, between 8pm and 9pm on Saturday.
The local man was taken to Broomfield Hospital but his stab injuries were not life-threatening.
Detectives are hoping to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or saw people with blood on their clothes or body.
A 24-year-old man from Chelmsford has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and two other men, aged 39 and 32 were arrested for public order offences.
