A man indecently exposed himself in a public toilet by performing a lewd act.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after reports a man, believed to be aged in his mid-20s, peered over a cubical and carried out the act.

The incident occurred in the Guineas Shopping Centre public toilets in Newmarket at approximately noon on Wednesday, August 22.

The offender is described as a white male, 5ft 10in tall with a shaved head and wearing a white t-shirt with navy shorts.

Witnesses or anyone with information should contact Suffolk police on 101, quoting reference 37/48008/18 or call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
