A man pushing a bicycle approached a woman and grabbed her bottom in Bury St Edmunds last week.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the sexual assault which happened between 4.30pm and 5pm on Thursday, December 13, on the town’s historic Angel Hill.

The woman – aged in her 20s – was walking near the Abbey Gate when a man approached her and grabbed her bottom.

The suspect is described as white, aged in his late 30s, around 5ft 9in tall, of skinny build and with short dark hair.

He was wearing dark clothing.
