Police are appealing for information following two house burglaries in Colchester.
A house in Linnet Mews was broken into between 7pm on Monday and 7.30am yesterday and a messy search was made.
Nearly £3000 worth of goods were stolen, including a mobile phone, cash and items of jewellery.
The second burglary occurred at a house in Mill Road between 3pm on November 4 and 11.30am on November 6 and a large amount of jewellery was stolen.
Investigating officer Dc Pete Coley said: “The jewellery stolen was of extreme sentimental value to the victim and I am keen to speak to anyone who can help us to find those responsible.”
