Police appeal for witnesses after man is punched in face

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was punched in the face yesterday in an Essex village.
The incident happened around 5.15pm in Colchester Road, Lawford, when the occupants of a car drove past a man, aged in his 20s, and began shouting and sounding their horn.
Shortly afterwards the vehicle turned around and a man got out of the car and punched the victim in the face.
The suspect has been described as being white and of a large build with ginger hair and a beard. He was wearing a white rugby shirt.
The vehicle has been described as being a small dark hatchback, possibly a Ford Fiesta or Renault Clio.
