Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash involving a single car on the A120 in Braintree, which left one woman seriously injured.

A Ford Ka left the road near Galleys Corner at 11.15pm on Saturday.

The four occupants were taken to hospital and one woman suffered serious injuries.

Two men and one woman suffered injuries that were not life-threatening or life-changing.

Police are asking anyone who was driving in the area at the time and saw the collision, or have any dash cam footage, to contact Stanway Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting incident 1605 of June 9.
