Essex Police are appealing for information to help find a woman from Clacton who is wanted in connection with an attempted murder in the town.

Kelly Gentry, 46, is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, of medium build with long dark brown hair.

She is be believed to have links to Colchester, Harlow, Tottenham and Barking and Dagenham.

The police appeal follows an incident at an address near the railway station in Clacton where a man was stabbed just after midnight on Saturday June, 24.

The victim of the stabbing was rushed to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Members of the public are advised not to approach Gentry if they see her and to call Essex Police straight away.
