A man police wanted to speak to in connection with an ongoing investigation in Bury St Edmunds has now been identified.

Officers had appealed for the man to come forward to assist with their enquiries and he contacted police on Saturday.

He was subsequently arrested and interviewed. He has been released on bail until Monday, June 4, pending further enquiries.

Suffolk police thanked members of the public for their help with the appeal.
