James Regan and Robert Butler were reported as missing on the morning of Saturday January 13. UPDATE: One of the men, Regan, has been arrested.

Suffolk Constabulary are appealing for help in tracing two men who have absconded from Hollesley Bay prison.

James Regan, 33, and Robert Butler, 34, were reported as missing to the police earlier this morning after they failed to attend morning roll call.

Regan is serving a four and a half year sentence for burglary.

He is decribed as white, five feet 10 inches tall with brown eyes and brown hair. He is of a medium build and is about 12 stone.

He has the word England tattooed on the lower part of his right leg and has scars on his right hand.

Butler is serving a seven year and three month sentence for conspiracy to commit burglary and driving offences.

He is described as white, five feet 11 inches tall, with brown hair and is about 12 stone.

He has a tattoo on the upper part of his right arm and tattoos of the words mum, Dad and Rose on the upper part of his left arm.

Both men have connections to Essex but it is not known whether they have absconded together.

Members of the public are advised not to approach the men.

Anyone who believes they may have seen James Regan or Robert Butler, or who has any information regarding their whereabouts, is asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101 quoting Cad 81 of Saturday January 13.
